What We Do
  • Provides a thorough assessment with a biopsychosocial lens
  • Treatment includes manual therapy techniques, modalities such as acupuncture and dry needling (IMS), rehabilitative exercise
  • Education regarding diagnoses and its relation to current symptoms and functional impairments
  • Education regarding positioning for sleep, work, ADLs
  • Educate regarding pacing strategies, adaptive equipment, energy conservation, self-management skills, pain science
  • Works closely with exercise therapy to optimize mobility and ease of movement
  • Connect patients with relevant community resources (i.e., OT, homecare, activity programs)
What We Do Not Do
  • Duplicate physiotherapy services that the individual is accessing in community
    • The person could still access physiotherapy (PT), though would need to discontinue from community PT for the duration of PT treatment in the Primary Care Network
  • Massage Therapy
